Danny Sapani is an English actor of Ghanaian descent. He was born in London – one of six children of immigrant Ghanaian parents. He was brought up in Hackney and started his interest in acting at the Weekend Arts College in Kentish Town. He went on to the Central School of Speech and Drama.
He appeared in Danny Boyle’s film Trance. His stage credits include Joe Turner’s Come and Gone and Radio Golf and the National Theatre production of Euripides’ Medea. He also acted in the 2013 Indian action thriller film Singam II as an international Drug Lord. His TV roles include Judge John Deed and the Doctor Who episode “A Good Man Goes to War.
